Read The New York times article on Art Shanty Projects, featuring Curious Cairns, here.

Curious Cairns was built as a part of Art Shanty Projects - an immersive art program on a frozen lake in Minneapolis that hosts 30,000 visitors per year - as part of their 2023 and 2024 seasons.
Curious Cairns was built with Lauryl Bergmann and Ben Paul. Our cabinet of curiosities housed a collection of rock-like art chunks. Visitors browsed the shelves, selected “rocks” and arranged them however they chose.
Curious Cairns has also been installed as part of Springboard for the Arts “Springboard on Ice” winter festival (2023), and at the home opener of the Minnesota United FC at Allianz Field (2023).
